The Palmersville Historical Society, Inc. was organized in 2004 by a small group of citizens who desired a permanent location for preserving local heritage. Our goal is to preserve, protect and present the history of Palmersville and surrounding area communities for future generations.
Our regular hours are 1PM-5PM each Friday afternoon, or by appointment. We hold quarterly meetings during the year, usually the last Friday night of January, April, July, and September; also we hold an open house on the Saturdays following those meetings from 10AM-4PM.
A Newsletter is published before each meeting which provides information about the meeting as well as articles of interest about happenings and personalities of the Palmersville community. Yearly membership dues are $20 per person or $25 per family. All members recieve a quarterly newsletter.
Of course, we are always glad to receive donations of any amount. All money received is used for upkeep of the building (utilities and insurance) and supplies. As we are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, all donations are tax deductible and we will give receipts upon request.
